Because Kamala and Tim are emphatically pro-America, pro-family, and pro-capitalism
I had a conversation recently with an incredibly bright and thoughtful friend who expressed concern about the degree to which a Harris-Walz administration would prioritize a favorable business climate.
So we talked about some facts. I pointed him to Kamala’s record and specific policy proposals and Tim’s record as governor of Minnesota, which include:
Passing the CHIPS Act, Inflation Reduction Act, and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which have led to a resurgence in American manufacturing, lower inflation than our Western allies, historically low unemployment, a record-high stock market, and stronger national security.
The vice president has laid out her ambitious plans to bring down housing costs for middle-class families by cutting red tape, increasing our housing supply by three million homes in her first term, offering $25,000 to help first-time home buyers with down payments, and doubling down on a $50,000 tax credit for Americans starting new businesses, which will help us achieve a goal of exceeding the record eighteen-plus million new companies launched over the past four years.
As for Tim, Minneapolis–St. Paul is home to more Fortune 500 companies per capita than any other city in our nation. And Minnesota ranks in the top ten in almost every category of business favorability tracked by CNBC.
Meanwhile, Nikki Haley’s Michigan leadership team is among the GOP stalwarts endorsing Kamala both because they believe in her economic policies and because they know what every economist and business leader is aware of: Trump’s tariffs will raise taxes for American families on average by $4,000, disproportionately hitting middle-class households.
Finally, rule of law is essential for a vibrant business climate. One candidate has spent her career defending the law. The other has spent his life bending and breaking it—and is promising to punish business leaders who do not bend the knee.
Bookmark these data points for the next time you hear “socialist” or “communist” or “anti-business.” Kamala and Tim are emphatically pro-America, pro-family, and pro-capitalism.
