Because Harris will help Americans break the cycle of poverty

In a world where democracy is often challenged, I am compelled to vote for leaders who embody the principles on which this great nation was founded—equality, justice, and the inherent value of every human life. Our Constitution laid the foundation with the belief that all people are created equal and endowed with certain unalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In Kamala Harris, I see a leader who not only understands these principles but is dedicated to ensuring they are upheld for all, regardless of background, race, or socioeconomic status.

I grew up without privilege, in a cycle of poverty that is far too common in this country. Breaking that cycle was not easy, and I have built a business that now supports multiple families. This journey taught me the importance of opportunity—true opportunity, not the kind promised in speeches but the kind that is tangible and accessible to all. Unfortunately, our society continues to be plagued by hate, lies, and special interests that strip away these opportunities, leaving far too many trapped in the same cycles that I fought to escape. Not only is the suppression of people’s potential unjust, it is a violation of the foundational principles that this country was built upon.

Kamala Harris represents the future I want for my children, one where those cycles can be broken, and where opportunity is not determined by zip code or last name. Her policies reflect a commitment to uplifting those who have been left behind, ensuring that communities thrive, and holding accountable those who have profited off the suffering and fear of others. The hate and division we see today have no place in the democracy that our forefathers envisioned. I believe Harris has the integrity and vision to steer our nation toward a more compassionate and equitable future, one that reflects the values we claim to hold dear.

Beyond our borders, we are called to support the freedom and basic human rights of all people. The United States has long been a beacon of hope for those seeking liberty and justice. However, this leadership must be earned and maintained through actions that reflect our values, not just through words. Kamala Harris, along with Tim Walz, stands for a foreign policy that promotes peace and holds accountable those who would use war, fear, and hatred to oppress others. Their vision for America is not just about preserving our strength at home but about restoring our global leadership as a nation that champions human dignity.

As a Christian, I know that placing faith in false idols is a dangerous path. Politics has become a cult for many, elevating leaders who prioritize power and greed over the common good. This is a violation not only of my faith but of the moral foundations shared across religions. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz offer leadership that seeks to serve, not to be served; they strive to build a nation where compassion, integrity, and justice guide our policies at home and abroad.

For my children, for the families my business supports, and for the future of this country, I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. They represent the best of what America can be, and I trust them to lead us toward a more just, compassionate, and united nation.
