BECAUSE TRUMP THINKS WWI VETERANS ARE “LOSERS”

On September 3, 2018, Donald Trump was scheduled to pay homage to the American military men buried at Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France. “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers,” Trump said after canceling his appearance. He was meant to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the 1,800 US Marines who died fighting at nearby Belleau Wood in World War I. Trump also reportedly referred to the fallen Marines at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for being killed in the line of battle.
