Because dictatorships aren’t funny

I support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because I support democracy. For so long I have taken for granted the democracy I get to enjoy in this country. The right to free and fair elections. The idea that every citizen can cast their vote, and the outcome, whether I agree with it or not, will be fairly dictated by those votes. Somehow, despite the range of characters who have been in power in this country, the principle of democracy has always prevailed. But I fear that will not be the case if we fail to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Unfortunately, Donald Trump has made it clear that he does not care about our democracy, he does not care about the will of the people, he just cares about himself. He is already sowing doubt about the legitimacy of the election if he loses, and if he actually wins, he has vowed to punish those who disagree with him. That is not a democracy, that is a dictatorship.
